Ahw yeah! 25mm version!
As soon as i am done with the rennovation of our new (for us) house i will get the printer going!
My new place has a shed with an attic perfect for the MPCNC (no more melting in the summersun)

Well crap, 25 mm releaser and in stuck in hospital for the last week.
No, not covid
Probably millions of people want to download the 25mm version and thingiverse cannot handle it.
Searching for ‘mpcnc primo’ shows an entry for that version, thing:4550789.
Going on shows the right page for some milliseconds and then they just tell me:
I feel I will be able to fetch it sometime today.
Oh mama! This was certainly a good news to wake up to! (contrary to most news the has come in the whole of 2020)
I’m suprised it’s announced in such an unassuming way - I haven’t even change to my 0.6mm nozzle!
Thanks Ryan for sharing the 25mm version.
I will soon be one of the happy users that have converted their MPCNC Burly to Primo.
I grabbed all the files from prusaprinters and I was wondering why the file sizes of the F version are so much smaller compared to J version.
Core stl is now 32Mb compared to 111MB in 25.4mm version (681.092 vs 2.341.324 triangles)
I expect it is just a matter of how you do the export from your design tool.
I am just curious if this has any implications.
Best of health to you!
Had to reload like 10 times, but I managed to download the F version!
Thanks Ryan!
Thanks for 25mm upload!!
While the files did not show up when I searched for them directly in thingiverse, I was able to find the right thingiverse page when searching for “thingiverse mpcnc primo” in google
Sigh, my exitement makes me impatient to start printing. I wasn’t expecting the 25mm so soon, so I’ve been busy with the 0.4mm nozzle all week. Now I’ve changed nozzles for the PRIMO, but I had an internal fight over wether to start right away, or to make a new calibration print because of the nozzle change. Sense won over exitement, and I put on a lousy test print…
Lo and behold! The silicone sock loosened, and ruined the test! Now I’m relieved that I didn’t waste the precious filament I ordered for this occation. PHEW!
Well. Now that the 25mm version has been released, this thread will probably die. I think 2/3 of the responses were people asking for when it would be released
The more are building the new Primo the more are seeking for help and posting in this thread. Even if a questions has been answered already a couple of times.
I’m hearing you loud and clear. Everyone…Stefan needs a break out, or maybe sneak in a printer loaded with STL’s to print an escape ladder, or a disguise of some sort.
Prusaprinters, is doing pretty good I suggest trying there.
Just exported them at a lower resolution. Too many complaints about the file size.
Sweet, hopefully that is out of the way. Perfect prints from now till the next nozzle change.
Hi all,
So I’ve just downloaded the 25mm, ready to get started with upgrading my Burly.
I haven’t seen this answered yet for the 25mm, but will the new 25mm Primo core fit into my 25mm Burly?
The new trucks are so sweet
new builder here… I’m assembling my first truck, and I’m about to attach the end stop. I bought both the kit of printed parts and the hardware kit. I just want to double-check that end stop screws (m2.5 x12 or #3 1/2 wood) are NOT included, right? Before I have to hunt some down at a local store. Thanks.
Will there be a filesize.lite version of the J files?
I think some of the bags are mislabeled as m12, but clearly not M12.
Not a chance!
Are included, tiny little guys, Jeff has it right, the bag is mislabeled.
Wooooo! My printer arrives in August. -_- Electronics and table are done. Only missing those prints.
I had hoped to be one of the first with a functioning 25mm Primo. Not going to happen now.
Alright, I’ll start then.
C version when?
Honestly, I’m still trying to decide whether to invest more in inch tubes and upgrade to the J version.
