Started build.
After a huge search in Turkey for 25.4 mm non standart tubes.
Same, lot of finish work needed on mine!
Sidenote, clearly not my week, had a duet board I bought about 2 years ago I was hoping to use for this. Hooked it up to a power supply completely within spec and smelled burning. WHAT IS GOING ON.
If nothing else an image of a board layed out connected to all electronics but no other part with labels around for additional guidance. For other boards all you would have to do is unplug and switch board then take another picture. Obviously add or remove components that are compatible with one and not another for example duel endstops
This is for another board, but the general layout should be similar.
Exactly
I like the adapter. It comes in handy if you build an enclosure for the board and want things “pluggable”
I have one of those adapters. Unfortunately, the connection between the barrel and the adapter is pretty flaky, so I either end up having to hold them together, twist them until I get a good connection, or both.
Fortunately, I am still in the early stages of wiring, so I have only been jogging enough to ensure correct direction of travel, etc. Once I run the wiring for good, and mount the board, I will cut off the barrel and connect directly to the board.
That’s odd, it may have been a manufacturing defect that the connections dont fit well.
I can pull on the cable with a good amount of force before it comes out (a typical amount of force you’d expect to pull out a barrel jack.
You could consider getting another one, they aren’t too expensive.
Thought i’d come up with something to hold my 80mm spindle while waiting for the 25mm version…
Anyone have a 3d printed control board plan / STL? Hoping to make my v2 organized AF.
Mini and full rambo, diagrams and pictures.
Thanks! Not sure how I missed those links.
Ryan, On this page, your ’ Gnarly Mini-Rambo Case’ link errors on the thingiverse page. Do you have a new link for the case? I would like to see it if possible.
I seem to be the only one that started with electronics.
That is something with thingiverse, I have not moved it. I think I also have it available on prusaprinters
and looks like it works again.
Looks like the ‘thing’ # has changed but yes I did find it now.
Thanks
Is it not still working? The link number and the current number are matching for me?
