New Jackpot board that will not move the machine even though it will run the code through FluidNc as if it is executing it in the autoscroll

Yeah I noticed this a few days ago and tried that config. It ends up being the same as what I find with the ohm meter but doesn’t work.

Jim didn’t say he has it. He said here it’s on the v1 site. The reason to buy it would be to have one that someone has in there hand and can test. Read my posts. Did I miss that he has one? That’s possible. If so I’ll order one right now.

I don’t know that @MakerJim has one. But Ryan linked it as the stepper to source to build the LowRider. Ryan, I am fairly certain, wouldn’t link one in the docs that doesn’t work.

I am sure that many LowRiders have been built that use those steppers.

Steppers are not hugely complicated pieces of machinery… I would say that it is a pretty safe bet that the ones he linked on Amazon are built nearly identically to the ones he sells, even if they aren’t the exact same ones

I completely agree. Who has one they can put their hand on and tell me the pin out.

Again keep in mind the only reason to. E buying another stepper is to take my ability with an ohm meter completely out of it. If just buying a stepper and ohming it out it all that’s needed then I’ve done that 15 times already lol.

You have all the heavy hitters here in your thread trying to help. These people helped me develop the Jackpot board. They have an extremely deep understanding of how all this works.

With that said we are all very busy helping other people in many threads and a very large behind the scenes project. If someone asks you for repeat information, they are not being rude, they are trying to get the facts straight at the current stage of trouble shooting. They also really do not have time to read back through 123 messages to see exactly where you are at now, what you have and have not done.

Please extend a bit of grace here and just play along. If you knew what these people did for a real job it would blow your mind, trust me when I say they are trying very hard to help you.

Also my responses are only short and direct right now because I’m in a hurry to reply to all before I go back into the conference room.

Please take no offense to that. None is intended.

I completely agree these guys are wayyyy over my head. If I had their understanding of this I wouldn’t be on here bugging them. Not to mention I think it’s awesome that you are on here too. Blows my mind and a bit star struck.

Also… do you have any day to day interactions with shipping? If so can I pay to have that stepper I ordered overnighted? That would completely negate the need for finding an Amazon stepper that one of them can lay a hand on.

Ryan is it. If its V1 its Ryan. From the top to the bottom. I am sure he will be back to answer your question very soon.

Sorry I can not overnight it. That requires a trip to the post office and other packaging. I am just one guy and a little too tied up to make that trip right now.

USPS priority should be there very quickly.

FWIW I also live in FL and usually get my packages about 3 business days from when Ryan ships.
