I just built myself an external 110vac relay box for my Jackpot V1 / LR2 config, Using a RJ11 breakout it isn’t wired particularly securely so I took it upon myself to come up with a better solution.
An expander board would be a great solution but it feels like using one or 2 outputs is a waste of a perfectly good peripheral slot.
I did a quick google and found there were no combination IO/Pendant expanders so I took it upon myself to slap one together.
Pinouts on the back of the board in case the user cares, Pendant port is standard FluidNC pendant wiring (using Ports 1 and 2 for rx/tx) Users have the option of screw connector and/or RJ11 for access to GPIO 3 and 4.
I feel like there is a potential for an alternative version of this board with a RS-485/Pendant capability but its been 20+ years since I have had an RS485 bus running on my workbench so I would need some test hardware to motivate me to build an implementation.
