New Build - Primo Bavaria Germany

Hello everyone,
After many interruptions, I have now completed the Primo. The first project (my special thanks go to ZenziWerken - Daniel Gross - https://www.zenziwerken.de) was a complete success. Many thanks also to V1 Engineering for publishing the MPCNC design. Here are a few pictures.
Best regards from Bavaria,

Really nice! Zenziwerken does publish some nice plans, the cuts look great. Care to post the finished product in Things You’ve Made?

Also, that’s a rather large MPCNC, but as long as it works it’s fine.

Wow, great great great…

i see you have laser mounted and it does nice work. do you have details on the model, where to buy it and how to operate? i hope there will be some written instruction somewhere.

i m assembling my first small v4 today

Servus Vasily,

I am replying in English so that other forum members can read along. The laser module has 20W input power (max.) and 4W optical power, which is perfectly suitable for engraving. It is probably also possible to cut plywood, but I did not design the module for this purpose, as I have a 50W CO2 laser that is better suited for such tasks. I installed a 1.5kW Chinese spindle (3-phase) with a frequency converter. I also use the 4-pin cable that normally supplies the spindle for the laser to feed the power supply (GND, 12V) and the PWM signal (5V level) to the laser module. I installed the OpenCNC shield as the control electronics, which provides the PWM-Signal. Attached is the data sheet for the laser module from Aliexpress.

I have also started printing the parts for the Lowrider V4 and will begin construction sometime in January. The MPCNC is going to a friend’s workshop.
