When I saw this on YouTube from one of the woodworkers I follow, I was like, I have seen that before: https://www.maslowcnc.com/. Of course, their system is a lot better, but it started somewhere. I almost built this before I found the LR. Hopefully, someone doesnât take what Ryan did and try to repackage it as their own.

It is very similar to the Maslow CNC, but different. The Maslow CNC is Open source though, If the Gordix were close enough they should be licensed Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International to comply, but I am not sure if it is or not.

Think about trying to properly fill a half million or a million dollars worth of orders suddenly received all at once.
As in Get them all develop and delivered in a timely fashion for a development machine. Sometimes that in its own right will kill the product.

So true, just watching the Hacksmith crew and their Kickstarter knife making saga is such a Herculean task - and they have enough expertise to do it right.

Amazon has had palm based payments for a while, so long now that they canned it. Palm/hand scanning tech has been around since ~80s, at USA military sites like S4. See âidentimatâ.
Also, that websiteâs a POS full of Ad spew.

This is neat on many levels! Neat that theyâre making classic vehicle bodies and parts, but then the manufacturing process is also fascinating. They buy 2 vehicles and use one to disassemble and 3D scan, and another to test fit the parts they make. Lots and lots of CNC!

I saw teases for this application by Applied Craft on his Instagram. Heâs opened it up to some testers and its got a ton of capabilities to explore. Its geared towards plotters and exporting SVGs or plotter based gcode but I figure people could use this to generate artwork for their CNC, or potentially use it in conjunction with sandify (maybe, maybe not. I admittedly donât know much about its workflow)

This guy has been working on an INDX like tool changer for 3d printing for a couple years. Itâs a neat design. Each tool has itâs own heater/thermistor but they share an extruder so it will definitely have cost savings compared to something like a stealth changer. I tried to link to a demo of it working.
