Neat!

Actually,5 years ago, I was using “Astroprint” on my printers and it was already pretty darn close to this

This product is basically an octoprint server with an integrated web-slicer, and online services it communicates with
They provide a custom app that lets you see your printer, and also browse popular 3d models websites, with an extra button to directly send the model to your printer

With integrated quick-slicing profiles, you could slice and print your model in a single click

Pretty awesome product, I never understood why it didn’t catch on

Regrettably, it only supports 0.4mm nozzles. My 0.6mm nozzle on the MMU is not supported, hence I can’t use it… -_-

If you like clockwork type stuff. I can fully recommend these two channels. Both of them are doing some amazingly small and detailed work.

and

I have printed a few clickspring models. They are nearly magical.

Are we talking the same Clickspring here? Chris doesn’t strike me as a model kind of guy as he’s making tools to piece together the world’s first clock! He really is a “must follow!”

Eslcam can do fancy halfpipes now:

@christian-knuell Ich bin immer wieder beeindruckt von deinen Ideen.

Hmm. You’re right. Who is the guy that designs stls for neat interlocking boxes and sells them or gives them out on patreon?

ETA: Clockspring3D! So close.

Could you be thinking of clockspring?

Watching someone build it is as close as I’m ever going to get when you check out the price. Cool thing though ridiculously complicated and ultimately pointless.

“Ultimately pointless”

Isn’t everything, eventually?

But that’s one of the coolest things I’ve seen in my entire life.

Pretty fascinating mix of traditional design/techniques , and modern technologies with a Shaper Origin and some Laser cut marquetry

@Tokoloshe I think you will love this

It’s laser cut veneer, anyone here could do it. :expressionless_face: Like, really.

Anyone can try, not sure anyone can get a descent result

Plus I think it’s not really about the veneer alone, it’s about the design choices that make a whole piece of furniture

Some interesting ideas, I like the way he does heated inserts for example.

I’m really tempted now to make a jigsaw piece spoil board- swap out bits as they get too tatty!

I can’t believe how many damn router lift videos I’ve watched from that guy, what the heck.

If I was that dude’s neighbor I’d be pissed!! Looks like he’s in an apartment.

Yeah but ussa does some nice designs!!!

Been a while since I had a NEAT post so here is one!!! GridFinity circuits that you build!!!

This is neat! Just my opinion!

What the hell?!!!

I’ve known CNC saws exist (higher material removal rate) but that one looks interesting…
