Uhhhh you might be able to with this one!!! let me look at it. How freaking cool would that be!? Optional badassery!
Resin? Polyurethane foam!
Part time is OK just wit adding 10 hrs for extra large logo
I donât think my logoâs have ever added more than a minute. I wouldnât do that to myself.
I know time isnât a issue just pulling your leg sorry I can sleep while my printer works
Iv never noticed any added time for you logo just the extra style
Noob question here. Would it be better if I printed in vase mode and then filled the parts with concrete?
Fill it with melted aluminum.
Pro Tip: Preheat the part in the microwave for 5 minutes before pouring the aluminum to minimize thermal shock.
Filling a plastic shell the has been melted to the glass tray in my microwave would be a shock when my wife found out. Probably 220 volt the next time I fell asleep on the couchđ¤Ż
Iâm pretty sure that recommendation needed to come with a PROP 65 warning.
3d print a negative shape. Then from that, mold a silicone positive shape. Then cast a plaster negative shape. Then pour molten zinc. Thats how I made this guy:
Aluminum is so-so. It causes the plaster to dehydrate and makes an ugly surface. This happens even if itâs completely dry; it drives out the water that is chemically bound with the plaster.
Sorry now back to the subject I love the logo I want to see them donât hide them !!!
So, youâre going to be the first with a polished solid-copper MPCNC?
Add gears and make it steampunk!
The hard part is figuring out the shrinkage.
Just print it faster!
Or more printers?
Multi-nozzles⌠same part.
I tried multi nozzles, but not multi nozzles on the same partâŚ
I bought the wood to build a couple more and update at least one of the old ones. Loweâs had some sort of 1/2" nice looking import baltic birch, looks nice and cheap enough for me.
