If you want I can bring my sharpie adapter for the dewalt base. Holds standard sized sharpies.
Get a large chisel tip and you can be an automated tagger…
My budding artist/forensic psychologist daughter swears by alcohol-based pens. They dry super-fast, and if you can rig up a quick-change fixture, they blend beautifully for some serious automated artwork…

Those look way better than my old prismacolor markers I used to use. Back when I still did artwork by hand.
I was hoping the link was to some of your daughter’s artwork.
Just saw a tweet from Prusa that they are backing out of ALL their conferences. They did not specify MRRF but i am sure it is implied.
sigh
Yeah…this is a crazy day. Virus and stock news is just mind blowing.
I don’t get it. The flu has killed 90,000 people worldwide already this year. Corona virus has killed 3,500. Why is the media making a panic?
Same reasons guns and cars kill hundreds of thousands a year, and everyone yawns, but planes kill a few hundred, and we’re grounding entire fleets.
In their defense, COVID-19 is at least twice as fatal as the seasonal flu, although it’s mostly with the elderly and health-compromised. Plus, we have no vaccines yet, and information about transmission is still getting out (it’s not airborne, unless an infected person basically sneezes into your open mouth, but it can live on surfaces for up to a week[?]). We primates seem to have an unreasonable fear of the unknown, and so as a species, we’re hoarding toilet paper. Like I said, unreasonable…
And it’s not like some major governments are pushing false narratives about the severity and rate of containment or anything…
Man, we could spend some TIME talking about all the things that kill absurd numbers of people.
I like to think that our unreasonable fear is evolutionary. After all, when they’re is a noise in the bush, the guy who goes to check it out is much more likely to be eaten by some big scary carnivore than the one that hauls ass.
Probably something to do with the permanent lung damage.
I’m not too worried, I’m flying half way around the world later this week.
Yeah… Embalming fluid can do that…
I’m getting burned, so no formaldehyde for me!
I’d prefer the long roasting, but frankly at that point, my remaining relatives can do whatever gives them closure. Of course, the wife might go for “Shark Week Chum”…
While information dispersion may be a significant factor in how people are reacting, policy officials and anyone who is responsible for groups of people can’t afford to be seen as slow reacting in this day and age of total information awareness. Looking at local infection patterns, such as the care facility in Washington, indicates a high level of caution is needed at this time, lest a vulnerable population gets whacked.
That so many health care workers got infected right away in China is a troubling sign that means folks have to change behavior if they are symptomatic.
There are a lot of unknowns at this time but in the midst of following the reports from primary sources, nothing has happened that makes me think we are should minimize our reaction at this time. But the ignorance about how masks work in health and hygiene is a bad example of people reacting irrationally, as the panic buying of antiseptics at this time.
We are going to start change worship practices at my church this week. Mainly because it’s going to get forced on us soon or later and we might as well ease into it.
Yea, don’t want to end up like that church in New York.
I was appalled at one sound bite I heard on NPR the other day regarding the spread of bad info via social media. The gist was a doctor who said “Drinking bleach won’t kill the virus, and will likely cause other health problems.” My thought was “Hell, drink the bleach… You won’t have to worry about the virus, and I won’t have to worry about you spreading it…”
OK, I wasn’t that harsh, but damn, people are dumb. Even more so when scared.
Not the onion, CBS News
Because of coronavirus, some people aren’t drinking Corona beer
If I hadn’t given up drinking beer for Lent, I would get some Corona, just because, as an antidote to stupidity.
