Are your thermistors showing temps for the bed and nozzle?

I am running that gcode right now, it works.

Make sure your bed is the bed therm etc.

Gcode is running and bed is heating. Part cooling fan is on at slow speed. I dont have any filament loaded currently. Do i need to throw some in real quick?

nah, it will be fine.

Just see if it completes both and starts a print. Then start a real print, have a look at my starting gcode to make sure yours is similar.

Start,

G28
G1 Z10 F6000
G34
G29

End

G92 E0.0000
G1 E-9 F2400
G0 Z385 F4000
M104 S0 T0 ; turn off temperature
M140 S0
M106 S0
M84 ; disable motors

Those starts and ends move the Z around to speed things up and stop the drop.

New issue now. Hot end doesn’t want to heat up. It was heating for several min and only made it to 138° before it errored out. I’m going to check the wires and all. Might have mangled something fixing the hot end the other day and didn’t see it. I have spare thermistors and heater cartridge’s at least lol. always something. Will report back ASAP

Make sure the thermistors are right. If it was actually the bed that would make sense.

Bed in 1 hotend in 2

Everything looks fine but I’m putting new in anyways. I had ordered them when I hooked the thermistor up to the fan port when I originally built it lol. It looks exactly the same as what I took out and on the listing said it worked with the Hemera

I have my Malibu and Diet Mt Dew ready to go. I held off making one hoping i would get it actually running LOL

Make sure they are not just loose first. Sometimes that happens.

They were not loose at all. Idk what happened. But its been replaced now. Idk what’s going on with it though. took 2 tries to get the hot end to temp and now its erroring before the bed heats up. I’m going to unplug it and plug it back in and try again lol. Would be nice if this would just start working at some point.

ok i got the heat issue fixed. I cant believe what it ended up being. My power supply was only putting out 23v. I bumped it up to 24.5 and it heated up like normal.

Test Gcode worked. It went thought the G34 and G29 and started printing. Now I’m going to set the z offset and load up some filament and I’m going to get this thing printing a new case. Seems like a fitting print for it lol.

@vicious1 which beer are you choosing???

AWWWWWW YEAAAHHHHHHH!!!

I am going to go try and find a Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout (back up in case that hard to find…Bud light)!

With the tft you can do a live babystep and save the offset. Should only take one or two tries. Quick and easy.

And my printer is done except a spool mount of some sort (might take a while) and a new screen mount (Should be quick and easy). I will keep the grand unveiling of this slick looking build for Rmrrf. Color coordinated screws, Extrusion slot covers…light up logo…better not get lost in shipping.

Enjoy your beer. The big problem we were having is finally corrected! for me I’m done messing with this thing tonight. Its still not wanting to heat up. Guessing its the cheap amazon heat cartridge I have on hand. Going to see about ordering a better one and hope it gets here before I have to head back out to work.

New 24v 60w cartridge will be here saturday!

I swear I just read you say you were never upgrading again… This just have been before that.

Congratulations. You are making good progress.
