I just finished printing my primo parts and want to find out if anyone has a firmware build for an MKS SGen L v1.0 32-bit board. I am not very good at modding the firmware, so it would be appreciated. Thank You very much.
I used one of those for a while. you can use the pre-built firmware for the mega2560/RAMPS board. It works directly.
Unfortunate naming, there is a huge difference between MKS Gen L and MKS SGen L.
The Gen L is just like RAMPS in most ways, but the SGen L is pretty different.
Right. I missed that.
In that case, there is no pre-built firmware that is going to work, if you aren’t comfortable with modifying formware, you are best off buying a supported board, even one that is community supported like the SKR 1.4 or Turbo, but if you’re buying a new board, I’d highly diggest that you go with a supported choice.
The Jackpot is inexpensive, can be bought directly from a manufacturer all over the world, and definitely has full support.
