Hmm…wonder why these 2 lines of the curve don’t meet?
Because one of the grub screws is loose, so the shaft has some play (it‘s a guess, but more or less educated).

Thank you - I nipped them all up even though they felt quite tight already and it hasn’t happened again, so hopefully that was it.
It did get me wondering though if I should be lubricating the rails with anything and if so what?
My tube is galvanised and even though I cleaned it with metal polish, it still has a little texture on the surface.
