I ordered several project kits from CIC Workshop in order to gain experience and confidence using my new LowRider 4. This weekend I built the maze game and I’m really happy with how it turned out.
They don’t provide files for Millmage, but it was easy enough to import the DXF and set up appropriate toolpaths. There is a complete build video that goes through all the steps. Only two bits are needed, a 1/8” upcut O-flute for the clear acrylic and a standard 1/4” downcut for the BamX.
I did make the pocket for the acrylic slightly too large thanks to selecting the wrong bit in Millmage; I fixed that by 3D printing and gluing in a thin black frame, which you can just see in the photo.
