Just a test. Did the roughing and finish pass with a quarter inch flat endmill. Used a scrap piece of 2X10, got lucky, found out there’s a broken off screw in it! It was in one of the islands, so it didn’t cut down far enough to hit. The actual stl is 4 foot by 8 foot. I scaled this down to 8 inches wide. No clue how I’m going to cut the full sized piece. Just this little guy took 3 hours! Pretty sure I can go a bit faster with a deeper cut as well. Did this one at 2mm depth of cut 15mm/s feed.
How are you going to make the cities appear when the camera gets close?
