I’m new to EstlCAM and am trying to manually draw lines that the Engraving tool doesn’t want to identify correctly.
I want to engrave this line

If I select it, it chooses to repeat the curly line at the top

I can use the manual tool to draw the line in, but as it’s a straight line there is no shape to draw ending at the origin point so I can’t close the shape.
Any idea’s on how to add this line?
Once you are done, you should be able to click the check mark on the left toolbar to complete your path. Don’t worry about the long trace to the button, once you click the button, it disappears.
An alternative to the check-mark icon is the Enter key. An alternative to manually setting paths is Automatic functions : Create automatically, e.g. with just the engraving closed and open options selected.
