LR4 (LowRider v4) SVG "nameplate" (logotype) that could be used to mark up strut plates or Peter plates

OK, so I went back to my source file in the vector illustration program. On the v2 batch with the wider spacing around the V1E icon, I had previously corrected (back in Oct.) the font face overlapping intersection issue and almost all the places with the leaning frame issue (all but one), yet somehow in my tiredness or foggy brained state, I had failed to correct those in the v1 batch at all. I’ve now edited the source file to correct all that, but I still need to fix the V1E icon issues. When I get it all spiffy, I will re-output the variations and post again here. So sorry for the mistakes. These mistakes seem easier for me to make in recent times.

My local drive in my laptop already had a downloaded copy of what’s on the GitHub (file dates match), but my vector editing work was based on some version of the V1E logo I had gotten previously from somewhere, and it definitely does not match. In the screen shot below, the black was what I had in the vector editing work, and the red is from the GitHub download!

Above, some had mentioned color, as pertains to matching. I just checked, and in Ryan’s SVG from GitHub the colors are RGB (based on mixing light as in computer monitors and TV screens), while in my files above, the colors were in CMYK (based on mixing inks), probably because that is from the default color palette in my vector illustration program.

Ryan’s red is an RGB red of “straight” R=255, G=0, B=0.
My red was a CMYK red of “straight” C(Cyan)=0, M(Magenta)=100, Y(Yellow)=100, K(blacK)=0.

Ryan’s black is an RGB black of “straight” R=0, G=0, B=0.
My black was a CMYK black of “straight” C(Cyan)=0, M(Magenta)=0, Y(Yellow)=0, K(blacK)=100.

So, no fancy color specs in either one, just a different color palette selected.

For my next effort to output, I will switch to using RGB palette and match Ryan’s straight color choices.

Fantastic!
Do you happen to remember the name of the font you used for the “LOWRIDER IV” engraving? I’ve searched online but couldn’t find it. Thanks a lot!

Somewhere (maybe in a beta test group message area) I did post what font served as the basis, however, what you see here is result of me having surgically altered the letters of that font. In fact, by the time it was done, I think I had it manually re-created every letter — using inspiration from the font while not actually using the font. I can look it up, but if you go to use it, you’ll get some thing that looks different from this in certain ways.

Didn’t you post the SVGs in the beta group?

@Tokoloshe I think so, but I can’t seem to find the beta group message area to even look for it there.

I think I finally found it. However, since it was posted in an area called “The Lounge” — it’s not available to all. I will repost the file and associated comment and images… here.

NOTE: This is not any official image or official logotype or official anything for the LowRider. It was just me sharing some image processing and vectors I did, in case Ryan or anyone wanted to use it.

The following is a copy and paste from a post of mine dated Oct 6, 2024 2:54 PM.

RENDER BATCH from yesterday + Font Typeface used as basis (“62DRAGZ”) + SVG of the LR4 nameplate / logotype - click to download as ZIP:

LR4 Logotype (LowRider v4) C-5 + font + images.zip (9.6 MB)

So, there are four variations of both the “G” and “K” pics:

No text - file name ends with “CLEAN”
Text on table only - file name ends with “TABLE”
Text on strut only - file name ends with “STRUT”
Text on table and strut - file name ends with “TABLE and STRUT”

The zip includes the SVG of the LR4 nameplate, the font typeface used as the basis for the edited vectors, and these images:
