LR3 Z not perpendicular!?

So, I‘ve surfaced my spoil board today - at least I‘ve tried …

The Z-axis doesn‘t seem to be perpendicular, it leans towards the front and leaves a tiny edge along the x-axis in every path:

Is there a procedure for the LR3 to identify the root cause and get this corrected?

This not likely to be the Z axis, but rather the verticality of the router in the mount. Search for “tramming” in the forums and you’ll find many ways to correct the tilt of the router.

You can also look for “Tramming tool” which you can make or print to insert into the router collet to check the tilt.

Ok, thanks Mike. Have already started printing the Tramming Tool.

Will read through the topics, though most of them seem to relate to the MPCNC. Are the corrective actions the same for the LR3?

Ryan somewhere mentioned to have used two or three strips of tape for the LR3.

Thanks Philipp, I vaguely remember this. This gives a pretty good explanation: https://forum.v1e.com/t/spoilboard-surfacing-bit/34604

But I still need to figure out where to stick the E-Tape…
