After one of those days when life has just got in the way at every turn, at 3:30 I finally got downstairs and installed the new front stops. They are super easy to adjust as one would expect with the slot.
While I was at it I printed a couple of shims - 0.9mm high and less than 1c worth of material, but they take all of the slop out of the dovetail.
I was going to use the orange test pieces I printed earlier but I thought hang the expense, if I run out of money I’ll borrow some from my kids! ![]()
The silver ones are nigh on invisible and it still slides buttery smooth.
Now to dismantle those looms to get to the "Y’"s!
