cool! thanks for sharing. You gave me the push I needed to order the magnets on Amazon. Should be here next week so I can finally complete the build.
I broke down and bought the 32mm magnets. I am sure I could puld have remixed for 1/2" magnets, but it would have been weaker holding strength.
I printed the NEJE laser mount, but found a few things.
The hole for the M4 screw doesn’t have enough room for the head, and the thickness of the material is a bit much for the provided screws, so I’ll remix it.
Thank you! When you remix, I can replace mine with yours. I don’t have a NEJE diode so it’s hard for me to test my design on my own.
That reminds me, I made one that goes the other way, from a neje mount to a kinematic mount.
I just posted it just now:

Dude, you rock. Thanks for posting that!
Yep. If you have a dremmel tool, nip off that screw tip. Maybe mark and cut outside of its intended final position, to avoid unwanted melting of plastic.
Yes, the protruding screw is not perfect.
Another option besides cutting off the screw is to drill a hole in the base, or let the screw smash its own hole.
I may remix the base with a hole in it. Tinkercad strikes again!
Updates
The version number for both the main branch and the NEJE laser mount add-on have been updated from 4.0 to 4.1, and the NEJE laser mount is no longer considered as Beta.
Here’s a link to the new main branch, which has new options to more easily accommodate use of one or two washers in Mobile Base side, and has new options to more easily accommodate use of the two different acorn nuts I sourced, and which has dimensional tweaks suggested by Jamie to let the disk magnet fit better: Printables
Also, here is a revised link to the new version 4.1 (up from 4.0) of the NEJE laser mount, which has gone live on Printables, and which incorporates all of Dan’s changes to make it more betterer! Thank you, Dan - @SupraGuy! Printables
I am excited, the magnets have arrived. Damn they are strong! I accidentally put 2 next to each other and had a hard time to separate them
They are strong! Be careful not to let them close together in a pinch on the tip of your finger!
Good suggestion! Wouldn’t like to see part of my finger clamped:D
Now I either need to find som washers that fit, or try to install the magnet in the other part too. Need to re-read my options in this thread
Re: Air Mist Mount
Hey, I missed seeing this part of your post until now. Thought I’d look at doing that 45° turn for you.
How did you orient this for printing? As shown in the download file from Printables? If so I guess you did supports under that overhang?
Yes sir. I didn’t know how else to do it. I know supports are frowned upon and I like that but that was built as I need it now more than I needed to learn how to at the moment lol. Thank you very much for taking the time to look at that. I’ll need to print another one for my larger machine when I get home. Unfortunately that one mounts differently but that should be an easy edit.
I would think it could be filled in. I found this same mister on grabcad and just followed it.
Also the large countersinks aren’t needed either. As you can see my bolts are plenty long enough lol
Sorry,
Did I miss a link to where you got that mixing unit, as this is def on my list, and so is the whole kinematic mount.
This is the one I bought. It’s not exactly like his, but it’s intended to do the same thing. I still need to install it!
thanks Doug!
