This is a lovely Idea.
The zenxy is a very cost effective motion platform, maybe something similar with more conventional kinematics for education could be designed. Less focus on actual performance and more on the function of each component.

There’s lots of interesting ideas. Small LR4s are really capable machines. MPCNCs are good builds. Those smaller MPCNCs up above look really great.
Then there’s member projects like the MPR&P which, frankly, would be a great modular build for an education program.
