My 1/4 sheet LR4 has narrower gantry (2’ usable X), so unlikely to IDEX. Instead , am planning to eventually build a larger full sheet 4’ usable X LR4, will consider IDEX mod for that with Marlin/Octopus controller unless something better makes sense at that time.

You know, If you procrastinate long enough nature will just break it down for you. Or pivot and call it mulch. That is a bummer, last year I had a couple branches come down take a few fence boards with them but nothing that bad.
Oof. That is a lot of branches. Good thing you have that trailer. A lot of repetitive work there.
