So I’ve been looking at getting a 3D printer and was seriously considering getting one from Prusa directly when I ran across MPCNC. That being said, I’m thinking of doing a build but ultimately need to be able to 3D print, do some aluminum up to 1/4" thick, and wood cutting/engraving. If I get the kit from here, what would I need to add to have a 3D print capability as well? Truth be told, I’m wanting to start with printing Catan tiles and a couple of aluminum projects. I’m open to thoughts/suggestions.

I think you’d need a 4th stepper driver and the hotend/extruder.

If you’re not printing your own parts you also need the Mk extruder mount set and an extra fan.
