$39, they know it is a steal…that is why they are already secured…who in the heck is going to steal it? The dewalt for $249 next to it looks smaller and no security.
Odd Priorities.

Those things can keep people from buying them too. Weird.
I wonder if it is something like the dewalt is on consignment and the kobalt is owned by lowes or something.
Someone probably got in trou le for not doing it correctly so are overdoing or were in the overhead that way and just brought down
Was bored waiting for better half to pick out plants at Lowes for us to bring home and slowly torture to death. So, moved routers to where people would expect to find, and other things to help boost Lowes sales…
Visited my Lowes and saw these. They are not locked up. I picked one more up. Not as good of a price as WA, but better than the first one I bought.
My Lowes says 0 in stock. I wonder if it’s worth driving down anyways.
Three-phase is the devil’s 'lectricity! Repent and cast out your demons!
Mine said 0 in stock too. They actually had 3.
anything over $99 has to have a turtle on it. we’ll put them on high theft items if they’re lower price though.
I am bummed out they took the display down on my day off. I wanted to grab the white parts with the lowrider on it.
The first one I picked up last month for $59 surged under no-load pretty bad and made some funny noises. Seemed to vibrate too much too. I boxed it up without trying it under load and took it back. I then did the normal thing we probably all do and wandered the tool section. They had 4 in stock at $39, so I bought two.
I’ve run one no load and it was much smoother and quieter than the first. Surged, but that went away after a few minutes. After 3 or 4 minutes in my hand at different speeds the body was a bit warmer than I would have thought. Maybe it has to just run in a bit… I haven’t unboxed the second one yet.
I have a bauer, brand new it ran noticeably warm but it seems to have worn in and feels fine now. I’m guessing there is a break in period.
Local lowes has 1 and $39. I don’t need it but if it hits $20 I’ll grab it
And now it’s $25 at my local store. Good think I found out at the end of lunch instead of the beginning, or I would be there now picking up another. Maybe tomorrow if they still have some available.
Mine is sadly surging on all speeds and putting off a wicked stink from the brushes. I’m going to run it for some mins and maybe try it under load and see what happens.
25… This is a brilliant price.
Wow, all the ones I see in the twin cities are at $99
Don’t trust the Deep Fake Web, I documented the twilight zone we inhabit in this post. The Kobalt mismatches between the Web, labeled price, and price at the till could be the glitch we’ve been looking for to escape the Matrix, or, at least get a good deal on a router, with LEDs.
