if your skr wasn’t connecting, it would fail for mcu, but that error is different and it will repeat as it tries to keep connecting.
Yeah that’s why I asked him to post. That orange color is usually for a thermistor issue. In my experience anyways lol
same thing on pf6 the last therm port
Damn, that’s weird. Let me think some more….
I tried a new E3D therm, and the H2 therm in PF5 and PF6, doesn’t seem to be a therm issue.
PF3-6 should work.
the error is an input though.
For inputs, we have
BLtouch (PA1,PA2)
endstops (PE15, PE10, PG5, PB10, PE12, PG8)
thermistors (PF3, PF4, PF5, PF6)
one of those for BL touch is defined as a pullup with the ^
I recall BLtouch or at least the early versions of it had to be repinned. because the sensor and the other pin were backwards. Ryan you have a crtouch though right?
Comment out the extruder section and see if the error goes away, will have to be the whole section as anything in extruder will look for a thermistor
I wasn’t sure if he was using a new or old board, and I knew 3 and 4 were used before so if it was an old board I was hoping 5 and 6 would be virgin lol.
Extruder required error
chasing extruder errors…
Damnit. Had never tried that was just hopeful, I’ve had plenty of thermistor errors before but never this one
Make sure your hot end isn’t heating. I have an skr with 2 heater ports that are on 100% all the time, I found it from a thermistor shutting things down lol
Okay, so that either means the extruder section or the extruder temp fan section I had to delete… puttin the extruder only back
okay. I had to put two sections back, verified the extruder driver uart.
It has to be something in the extruder section,
Tried changing the heater port, and verified the pins.
It has to be the therm…
New or old board?
the thermistor to PF6? (T4)
tried it
I thought it was new, maybe not?
maybe I remove the extruder and try a heated bed. See if it can be narrowed down further.
