Just checking in

I have been busy busy behind the scenes.

Most importantly, I have been revamping all the LowRider 4 Instructions with a new Full sheet build for myself. I have one section left and boy does it feel good to be proud of the instructions again. This has been a slow process since the LR4 release 1 YEAR AGO!

I have been in the forums working on the Jackpot3, Hopefully you have checked that out. I do believe it is ready for prime time. Just want Jim and Britt to try it out first.

I updated the website theme and all the plug ins.

Some of you might have noticed the Shipping rates updates. That took continual tweaking for a while.

Added a site blog post with another on the way I hope, late I know but not forgotten.

Worked on the backbend of the forums for a day, after the emoji edit.

Added an instagram feed to the home page and media page.

A couple small shop building interior improvements, as well as starting to reorganize the dirty side of the shop to fit the new full sheeter.

I released some new parts, link here, The print farm has an incoming AMS so I need some parts for the plus 4’s, new hose holders for the LR4, Jackpot 2 box, pendant box, heatset insert toolmount optional core mod, and a LR4 pen mount.

Here we go, everything is falling back into place, clean and fresh ready to rock and roll. Back to kit prep and filling inventory.

Next up is the Jackpot3 release, I have a small project I want to make a few of for friends so maybe I can snag a little youtube video of the new full sheeted in action, and after that I should have time freed up to work on more CAD and hardware tweaks. It has been an amazing year so far and I am on a roll of improvements and new stuff!!!

I just saw your project updates as well. That is so far beyond my pay grade, you are a man of many talents!

Ryan, you’re working hard and it shows! Keep it up and make sure you’re taking time to take care of yourself and your family. It is often more draining to do the stuff you don’t want to do, but you’re pushing through!

Hopefully things will keep rolling smoothly and you’ll be able to reap some rewards from all this hard work.

Thanks Heffe. If you notice the other model I published was for the boat…been doing lots of wakeboarding.

Yes you have! I’ve just had a bit of a poke around your Printables gallery and was surprised at how much has changed since the last time I looked, perhaps that was a year ago too!

I am slowly getting my V1 head back on, trying to work out what to do with the LR3 - there’s plenty of fun to be had, and perhaps the Jackpot3 looms in its life rather than the bin! It looks as though my beloved won’t be walking again in time for us to travel next year, and the last time I had that much time on my hands the LR2 turned into an LR3 - hopefully you will give yourself a well earned rest and I’ll have time to do something before the next model comes about.

I really hope that shipping thing settles for you, and while a wake boat is the antithesis of what a boat should be (imagine designing any other machine to be deliberately inefficient) I’m glad you have had some down time too. I guess snow is just around the corner?

Not sure about the hills near Ryan, but we had snow on our high Rockies this past week.

Summed up that sounds really awesome, you have accomplished a lot through all the hardships, shipping troubles and the tariff chaos. Glad the instructions are done, so closely before the LR5 release… :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

You forgot to mention that you also launched an international kit and found a super handsome supplier of printed parts and aluminium plates in the EU as well. :face_savoring_food:

It does feel odd to deploy the wedge to pull the boat down while in motion and fill up a “small” 400lb bag of water in the boat just to get a 1.5" wake to play with.
When the water gets too cold I will be watching the snow reports. Last year was a bit of a bust in terms of snow. We had a small snow pack and the snow was far between so it was very rocky terrain. Might need to look for different more local activities I can do year round.

Oh…and I launched the international LowRider kit with the most beautiful man to supply the printed parts for the EU!

Thanks for all the hard work. I had to take apart my MPCNC 2yrs ago and been itching to build something new. Looks like I just found my next project
