The new version of the A40640 has a number of improvements (?) Two fans to cool the diodes; one on the top and one on the front. A built-in air assist port. However, the package didn’t include the nice laser test board, or the interface board, which I got in the first one.

It’s still a nice unit.

I’ll do you one better. I wanted gas in this house. There’s no gas in the entire neighborhood… all electric.

But. BUT! I have a 50’ easement through the middle of my field for an Atmos gas line

Can I get it tapped and brought to my house? Nope!

Seriously. I still can’t understand why the developer didn’t have gas ran through the neighborhood.

We’re all trying to get rid of the gas.

But don’t you live in texas? What do you need gas for? Do you even have a heater?

(I’m joking, BTW).

This is how your supposed to us a full sheet machine right???

3 drawers cut out and an additional 2 sides to complete the ones I cut yesterday. Slowly adding to my storage in my “LowRider on top of cabinets” lol. It’s amazing how much stuff you can put away in a nice row of drawers. Already have the first of 3 planned rows done. This will be the middle row. 3rd to come at an undetermined future date lol. Will post more pics when they are installed but here is one of the completed row and the messy hole these are going into

People spend a whole lot more money to get that cutting capability… Heck yes, that’s a super capable setup.

Did it all at 23mm/s and 6.25mm DOC with this bit

I think it ran very well. Only issue I had was the plywood getting stringy and wrapping up around the bit. Other than that not a single skipped step, nothing else screwed up, it just went how it was supposed to. Now I get the fun of sanding all the upcut fibers and putting them all together tomorrow LOL

Is that 1/2" ply?

Well 12mm actually. Its what the cabinet shop calls “China Birch”

Is it still 80 bucks a sheet?

So wasteful… left all that scrap left over! Lol

That’s awesome!!

Thankfully no. Paid $35 a sheet, Cheaper than I could get Sandi plywood at home depot and this is much nicer 5 ply. I think they wanted $40-45 for the 3 ply. Plus I would rather do business with the locally owned cabinet supply house than either box store

Edit. I lied… Its 4 ply not 5

LOL I tried to get the most I could. And that little full length strip has a use as well. Put up a shelf in the computer room last time I was home and I’m going to use it across the front of it and hide some LEDS behind it LOL

That gets you a third of the size in Germany…
