@jamiek Squareness Marks

Is there a way with the G-Code generator Jamie has made to run the squareness marks like Ryan does with a v bit and just poking holes? Am I correct that Jamie’s gcode actually draws the “L” which wouldn’t work with the v-bit and tape method?

I dont know of a way to do that with Jamie’s generator. But in Ryans video, down in the description is the gcode he used. You can adjust to the size of your table and if you are using the jackpot you need to change the start and end gcode. But it works well for me. I usually set one up for my machine and leave it on the SD card so that if I want to check it later it’s already there ready to go.

Dang it! I missed that. I watched that video when he posted it but I guess I didn’t look in the description. Thanks!

Actually you dont have to make the 4 corners, just 3, 0x,0y 0x, 800y and 600x, y0 . The diagonal should be exactly 1000mm. The 3-4-5 multiply the number by 100-200-300 whatever size you want) (i used 200 as a multipier)

Yes. But if you go to the full extent of your table like Ryan shows in his video then you can get a much more accurate square of the machine. My machine is full sheet so I go to the full extent x and y. It just makes it easier for me. Nothing wrong with either way really.
