I didn’t explain it properly. X axis. One motor contacts the end stop switch but keeps running. That set an alarm and the other motor hasn’t made switch contact yet. It all worked perfectly before the config change. I’m not sure what it could be
X axis is the core moving left and right, just to make sure we are talking about the same thing.
In the terminal run $HX, what happens? If you get an alarm lets see what the terminal says with a screen shot.
I ran $HX and it worked perfectly. While I was waiting for a reply I check to make sure everything was square. Losened the rail clamps to see if anything would settle out. My across corn dims were out by about 3mm. Not sure if that was engough to cause some drag. Anyway I’ll keep plowing along and see if it continues to work. What were you doing before that did not work? Also make sure the X endstop triggers before the core kits the metal plate, byt a little bit 3-4mm, 1/8" or so.
