I mean… I hope it’s all fixed…

I need the dust to settle so I can prod him about my other PR, and fix up some of the WebUI backend stuff

I saw Luc had some updates to v3. I think it was just adding captive portal URLs. I’m not quite sure what that does other than it only affects AP mode.

yeah, it just added more restrictions on when it tells you that it’s a limited state and won’t work.

I merged his changes earlier today, but haven’t published a build yet

Cool! Will give 3.9 a go with my new build. What is the easiest way to install WebUI v3?

Am I mistaken, or was something else major also merged alongside the pre9 stuff??

Probably best to verify with V2 first. There are a LOT of changes in this release.

Oke makes sense  will give the normal v2 ui a go. V3 just looks so cool and promising

These 2 pull requests are in the main branch from before, but was not tested as part of his pre9 test branch. Everything else was in pre9

the VFD rework made a late entry into pre8

Not that I’m aware of. This is the diff between 3.8.4-pre9 and 3.9.0.

I want to swap over my tmc drivers from my skr to the jackpot board. For the skr we had to bend one of the pins on the driver, should I unbend this for the jackpot? Or leave them bend?

I don’t know the answer but I would create a new topic for that question so it doesn’t get lost in this thread.

The socket isnt even there for those pins on the jackpot so you can leave them bent over.

That steppingnovtabs branch?

That’s always the better plan, to avoid mega-threads that spin topics.

I should be done with boxes pretty soon so I can actually mess with this release

That was what pre4-9 were built from

I am re-flashing and trying again before I report anything.

If I try to run a file from the SD, nothing happens.

Know good board, known good file.

Tried a new board, same file Boots fine, hit go it reboots, and looks like this.

I can save a lightburn file gcode and try to run that on the JL1.

Your SD card is also known good?
