lol…no worries.

Is latest stable suspected to be FluidNC 3.7.17 (2024-04-28) with WebUI v2, or V1E LR WebUI v3 (Mostly 2024-03-20, Config.yaml 2024-06-24) ?

I wouldn’t suspect V2 vs V3 WebUI to have an effect.

They both operate similarly

I did the version testing with V2 ui. I can test with v3 but would be nice to someone to provide the gcode that failed at random times just for testing

I don’t think anyone has gcode that can necessarily reproduce it which is part of the problem. It doesn’t seem to be consistent.

I belive someone wrote that have failed some job at random times. Even in the fluidnc support they are asking for a gcode file to try and reproduce the error, the only consistent error is the one you get by trying to access system files while running a job (you get a hardlock and safemode with the first reboot)
-sorry English isn’t my language and i try not to use a translator

This is the behavior i’ve seen since i first used fluidnc

I reverted the ISR commit from 3.8.3 and it still crashes when accessing settings while a job is running.

ah well… figured it wouldn’t be that easy… never is…

Probably worse case scenario is that it’s the Expressif library update… will be the hardest to work out a cause for

just found this on discord:

You think someone should post on the github that the problem was from 3.7.17 to 3.7.18?

They seem to think it only existed in 3.8.*

3.8.x has some nice addition for toolchanges would be awesome to play around with but now i want to see if LR4 will work ok with A 1500 mm usable x axis (1500x5000 :smirk:) with a dual vacuum pump for the bed (perhaps an idex version but thats too much to ask)

This is the random crashes issue, not the settings crash.

whoa, that is 60" x 196" 5x 16’???

If you have that kind of room. Not sure where you will find gt2 belt that long LOL

I had an email sent to me where the person had a 30’ LR. He was cutting these crazy strips for dome houses or something like that.Just down on a sidewalk and it was nuts! So it can be done.

I think there was another one, but that one is huge as well, LR V3 with Laser, Servo-Pen and working area of 5800 x 1625 mm

The one I am thinking of what outside on a super wavy sidewalk, kinda nuts to think it still worked well enough.
