Does anyone can provide the gcode and a guide for me to test and try to replicate the issue?
Will update both to whatever version you need

, hang in there. See how you feel after using for a while. Personally I like keyboard shortcut jogging with bluetooth keyboard attached to my 10" amzn fire tablet. And this is before adding Jason’s extensions that improve layout functionality for V1E machines.
How big is it???
“not enough space” is coming from FluidNC, not the WebUI itself
I know it’s unpopular, but for testing I always use the native OS installers to do test loads.
Run
erase.bat (or .sh)
inststall-wifi
install-fs
Then re-uplink the config files, v1 stuff, and the index.html.gz.
Aza, im using dedicated pi4 Kiosk with a touchscreen for each of my boards, they work flawlessly. That said i tend to keep a little outdated with software versions. My machines cant stop even on sundays
not my first rodeo, but thanks
The files im trying to upload are the ones downloaded from the v1 LR v3 github.
Less than 15 minutes and got my first error! This is promising.
-3.8.3 with webui2 next!
Kick butt! Thank you.
So, any particular thing you guys wanted to be tested with this version of fluid?
@azab2c 's scenarios- going into setup causing a crash, not being able to recover from a pause or reload- I’m not as immersed in all the scenarios, but he had outline a number of them.
I’m a FluidNC noob, only just ran FluidTerm for the first time (have been using FluidNC Web Installer). Shared what I observed in this post, hoping people would tell me if I’m understanding and/or doing something(s) wrong. So…
Hoping FluidNC Pros here will chime in…
Can i recommend a new topic and change it sot rhe first post has bullet point as to all what is going on? Man. Sounds like alot here. I just went over to disord, and there was a comment, “that sounds like a longstanding bug!”
Yep, still going with it. Can confirm the issues, settings tab causes
(cant speak about the old cersion i regularly use )
reloading pages also.
Will be downgrading 1 version at times until i get one that doesn’t do it
My suggestion is: To find a stable version that works for the most of the users and the rest to update their boards at they own risk. Some of us can commit to test new versions to see if they are stable enough. (I dont update regularly but i can buy a new jackpot just for this.)
This is a great idea.
This is all a bit confusing because in my view, there are really 3 different issues going on here:
Reloading the WebUI, depending on FluidNC version, will either kill the job or display that basic screen. This issue at least has to do with reading the index.html.gz off Flash. If you can keep your browser open for the duration of the job, this shouldn’t be an issue.
Clicking on the Settings tab will kill the job. This is similar to #1 but I think it’s different. When you click on the Settings tab (at least on v3), it’s sending an ESP400 command to retrieve FluidNC settings which I think may include reading the config.yaml file off Flash. I think if it could default to the ESP3D Interface tab, it wouldn’t crash until you selected a different Settings tab. Workaround is don’t do that.
After running for some period of time or in some condition, it will crash. I don’t know much about this one.
Happens on 3.8.3 V2 as well
I don’t think it is cable dependant in my case because I have built and rebuilt 6 controllers now trying to eliminate any problem. I also change the USB cables MANY times, purchasing the best I could find that are shielded and also with ferrite. The grounding I have been particular about, all from one point and everything connected with earthing straps. The electronic cases have also been shielded.
No other equipment in use around or near the controllers when in use.
One common maybe is the cloned Nanos that I have been using, and I have recently purchased a genuine Nano to test out when I can get around to it. What I really don’t understand is why I am not having similar problems with my CNC plasma cutter that uses Mach3, 3x laser engraver/cutters all using GRBL, several 3D printers using Marlin and GRBL
Jason, have you had the settings page crash the Jackpot? I ask because you said you use VS Code to install FluidNC to take advantage of the 8MB on Ryan’s ESP. I do too and I haven’t had Fluid crash. I don’t go clicking all over the webpage either.
In general, I don’t click Settings when running a job, but it will crash it for me. Note that it only loads the settings once, so if you click Settings before running a job, then run a job and click Settings again, it won’t crash.
