Jackpot CNC Controller

Is the Jackpot CNC controller for sale elsewhere because if I order it here, the price almost doubles due to the shipping costs to Belgium. VAT and customs clearance costs may also be added. Then it will be a very expensive board.
At the moment I use the SKR Pro board with Marlin but I want to use GBRL.
Thx

People with the same problem.

Ryan posted a link and video on how you can order them here:

For those interested, I ordered a Jackpot and SD card and the total price for Belgium is €160 (174 dollar)of which €46 (50 dollar) are VAT and processing costs.
It’s a total of €114 for the board (€60.23), shipment (€41.39) and the sd Card (€6.43)

Yeah, this is what is stopping me from making an order.

I just checked the affliate links for the MPCNC and a couple of them are not possible to buy from Europe and/or not available for sale at the moment.

Perhaps the affliate links could be updated?

Bummer that there isn’t a distributor in the EU.
I’m really spoiled being able to buy these in the US without VAT and with shipping in a flat rate USPS box being super affordable.

If there were better links to buying your own build from JLPCB, would that help?
Or, would it be the same problem for you with the shipment and VAT for a single board driving the price absurdly high?

I know @vicious1 has repeatedly mentioned trying to find a better solution for customers in the EU.

I saw the post about JLPCB and that is one route to go. Another is to self-source the parts, however, I still want to contritube to V1E in some way so I haven’t ordered from anywhere else either.

With shipping, vat and toll it becomes kind of expensive. There is also aliexpress but then the specs arent’t obvious.

Are there any online shops in your area that you think might be the right fit to sell these boards?

Form me, Amazon.nl - Amazon.de or Amazon.com.be

Amazon is hell for small businesses to sell through.
It’d be better to hope that BTT started making jackpots than to try and get these on Amazon.

There’s got to be a small hobbyist/electronics/printer/cnc specialist small distributor in the EU somewhere that would make for a good jackpot distributor.

I can’t think of any at the moment, most small companies here are geared towards 3d and not cnc.

They may still be open to it, since its for a 3d printed CNC…

Agreed, not a viable option for stuff like this. The return policy is insane, fees are very high, and the pay is net 90…all no good at the prices I like to sell at.

Yeah, we actually need more of a 3D printer or electronics oriented shop. “CNC” shops tend to be very large CNC’s and not home sized units.

It’s always weird to sell stuff to countries with VAT. Because both govts are getting the tax (income here and VAT there). But that is a problem for any imports, right? Do other companies just not do the accounting correctly?

If I ship directly from the manufactures, it should be far cheaper than importing here, then export and import again. I think nearly any place outside the US would be far cheaper for the end user currently.

The US right now is at 35% import tax for most thing from China (for orders over $400, it used to be like 10% and orders over $1600 politics have changed this recently). So in general when I buy things because they are in bulk I get charged the import tax, so my price is nearly what people can buy them one at a time at a higher price without import tax. I got hit with a 50% on belt the other day…that sucked.
