I was working on a wifi issue on my Jackpot board when I noticed some kind of gunky buildup on the Y1 stepper port. Apparently something shorted out or went weird, the connector was a bit melty and the wires were scorched. I have no clue what happened but I blame the guy who assembled this thing. Next time I see him in the mirror he’s getting a piece of my mind.
I redid the connector and Y1 doesn’t move. I want to test the port and see if I’m well and truly screwed and need to replace it or the stepper. The board still powers up and other steppers move, all endstops work.
What should I be doing with my multimeter to test the port for functionality?
