How to Transfer Design Files from Computer to Jackpot CNC Module?

This is definitely a dumb question, but I just can’t wrap my head around it yet. How exactly do I get a design from my computer to the Jackpot module?

What’s the easiest way? What’s considered the “best” way? And what’s the “YBR” method?

I’ve read through the instructions and understand how to create files, and I’ve seen how to connect a device to the machine to control the CNC router. What I’m not seeing is the actual process of getting the file onto the machine itself.

You can transfer them wirelessly in FluidNC. There’s an upload button and file directory.

Two ways I know of:

Remove the SD card, take it to your computer, copy the file, eject the card, walk it back to the jackpot. (Sneaker net)

Or

Drag-and-drop the file to the SD card in the web UI
(Or upload it from the files section)

Use the microSD card, load the gcode from your CAM software on it and put it back in the jackpot. That is the answer to two of those. If you have an amazing connection to your network, and your CAM computer, you can do it wirelessly. Issues can happen, and I highly recommend you don’t do that for a while.

Not a dumb question it’s an item needing personal response two different types of inquiries. Sometimes to register a direct answer is needed just a Jumpstart. :grinning:
