How thick should the tubes be?

Hi,

I’ve been quoted about 650 NOK or 80 USD for 6 meters of Stainless steel tube with OD 25 mm. Wall thickness can be either 1.5 mm or 2mm. I presume 2mm is stronger, so I should go for that. But will it be sufficient?

Anyone from Norway here that know where to get a better price?

2mm would be rock solid. Mines are +/- 1.5mm thick and they are very rigid. If you want to save some weight, you could use 2mm for the corner parts and 1.5mm for the moving parts.
