Has anyone done their parts in PETG? If so, 70% infill still required?

Seems to me that the recommendation of 70+% infill on these parts is extreme, even with PLA.
But with ABS and now PETG, has anyone done their parts with these? If so, did you use less infill?

I printed the XY motor mounts in PETG. I stayed with the 70% infill, and they seem to be pretty close to the same strength.
