EstlCam Question 11.245_a32

My question: I’ve been using estlcam for several years. One thing I cannot figure out is how to make finishing job start at the top of the roughed workpiece rather than low on the sides. See attachment.

Is there a way to tell EstlCam, start at top most part of model for finishing cuts?

Thanks

It looks like it only happens on 3D parts (convex VS concave shapes) that have roughing and waterline finishing paths. All I currently know is that the cutting bottom to top/outside to inside is not a given. The examples (B>T + T>B) are from a previous project where I had only noticed that something was inconsistent.
