Estlcam job restarts

Can someone explain to me why once the job finishes and returns to home it restarts the job it just started doing it I’m puzzled

It shouldn’t if you don’t press start again..maybe the key is stuck?

Is it the finishing pass?

Doesn’t return to home first on finishing pass.

It finishes the cut returns to home ( start point) then start all over (z remains all the way up)

I think you are using a Jackpot?

How are you running the file?

Can you share the gcode?

yes jackpot running not sure what you mean

cross.nc (34.9 KB)

How are you starting the job? From the WebUI? a sender? a pendant?

Webui

A couple notes.

I’m guessing you are not intending to cut this out in 16 passes. If not, you should increase your depth per pass.

Is it doing 16 passes and then restarting?

There is a $1 at the end of the gcode. I don’t think that should be there. I don’t know what that would do.

Yes i forgot to adjust the depth before i started it

It just started doing the last couple of jobs

Did you intentionally put that $1 at the end of the gcode file?

No i would not know how i let estlcam v11 do all the work

All of the gcode at the start and end of the job were put there, either by you, or by default. You may want to check your EstlCAM settings, and edit as needed.

$1 should be a delay. But that is used on 3d printers mostly but is usually accompanied with another value

I see a $HK (no $1) which appears appropriate if it’s for a LowRider V¾ - GRBL/Jackpot.

Thanks everyone i think i have it fixed some of the estlcam settings where not right (how that happened is a mystery)
