I have tried looking around and cannot find a definitive answer.
I am currently using Estlcam 10.047 on my MPCNC using mega Mega2560 / Ramps 1.4 using Estlcam firmware.
I would like to upgrade to V12 however not sure if the firmware will work. There are some differences in the pinout it looks like in the software.
V10
Arduino Mega2560 / Ramps 1.4
compatible pin layout:
• Experimental firmware for Arduino Mega 2560…
• Suitable for Ramps 1.4 boards with Polulu drivers…
• Driver Extruder 0 = can be used for second X-motor …
• Driver Extruder 1 = can be used for second Y-motor …
• Set the drivers to 1600 steps / rev for best performance…
• All limit switches available…
• Aux 4 Pin 18 / Arduino D 16 = Error input…
• Aux 4 Pin 17 / Arduino D17 = Probe input…
• Aux 4 Pin 16 / Arduino D2L= Spindle output….
V12
• Ramps support in Esticam is limited to basic functions:
• Control of X, Y, Z motors…
• Extruder 1 and 2 as secondary X and Y Axis…
• 6 Inputs…
• Pin 8 / Heat Bed = spindle motor on / off signal…
• Pin 9 / Heat 2 = PWM signal…
• All other pins are without function…
Also V12 only talks about “Ramps” where V10 Said “Ramps 1.4”
I am also open to different firmware that Estlcam can control. I would love something that can be used with Estlcam and lightburn.
