EasyEDA ESP32-DevkitC-32E-N8 testing

I literally just mentioned this exact post in another thread a few minutes back.

At the very least include every part. Some people have more money than time. A single click to start playing is super tempting.

I think I will have one fully assembled 2’ wide LR for sale real soon. Just to see how it goes.

I’ll take it.

Wait is it the one you said has a new core, or something like that?

AHA! He didn’t number it… It must be a LR4!!

I made a fully custom blue one for Kobalt, since the router seems to have been canceled, I doubt they are going to want the build now. I have no idea what I need to charge for it with the build time, custom connectors, and build time that went into it, and the shipping…

It is prudy, even has a blue jackpot on it.

ohhh…use that as an opener to find out what’s going on lol…

“So I have this CNC machine here… by the way, when’s Rev 2 of the router coming out?”

Man just rub it in again LOL

If you have it in writing that they ordered it then they should pay the bill regardless. Messed up for them to ask for it then leave you hanging on it. Have you heard anything from them specifically about the router?

That actually explains where the missing blue one went I told you I had… It is in the Kobalt build.

I do need to find out what is going on, at least with that build. Been sitting there long enough, I should have waited to build it.

No I keep putting it off. I guess I should do it this week.

“Hey what’s the latest on the router?? Oh, by the way… Here’s your bill”

How about shipping all the remaining warehouse stock to a certain small business that could actually sell and support them… as a thank you (as if that would be typical corporate behavior)

Absolutely this. It’s likely to be such a small expense in the grand scheme of things, too.

We had a similar situation with a small company we were working with that custom designed some stuff for us. After talking to them about a potential other job I found out that they had misjudged a couple of things and ended up barely breaking even due to needing to replace/modify some parts that didn’t work out as expected. They should have just submitted another invoice. I didn’t care, it was all just numbers in a spreadsheet on my end and a 30 second email to the finance team to justify it, but it was a huge deal to these guys.

The router IS cancelled?

I would much rather it go to someone who will use it. I will shoot off an email soon, who knows, maybe they just made a revision to the router. I wonder if I could buy a bunch of overstock…

Hopefully the speed control LOL

Hopefully based on some of the reviews at Lowe’s, also a small tweak to the diameter to make it slightly less than a 65mm diameter body.

Yeah, all of the complaints are about the diameter. I wonder if they are clearing inventory to then come out with a 65mm version?

I had not seen any of those reviews. I get the 65mm thing, I think the mistake was just making it too close to 65. It should have been or been more different. Whoops. Other than that…uhhh look at all those other CNC users!!! the ER11 collet was a smash.

DAng.

Yep, even the people who were upset about the diameter liked everything else about the router.
