Disable cutting element?

Besides undo one other major missing thing I’ve yet to find is a way to disable a cutting element without deleting it.

There are times where you want to do a test cut, or recut an element. Currently it seems that you need to delete it (which - no undo) so you have to save a new version for the test cut etc. If you need to make changes or iterations you’re on a seperate file. A bit of a mess.

Am I just missing something or is this a missing feature?

I see you can disable svg layers, but seems to be no way to temporarily disable a cut.

Save the project, use ‘(Ctrl-A (+)) (Shift +) left-click (+ drag)’ and Delete to reduce the set paths to what you want to test/(re)cut and Save program or Start machining. Reload the saved project to discard the changes.

When using the Estlcam controller it is relatively easy to make on the fly CAM changes to recut something deeper or wider (e.g. a 2D inlay pocket) in the middle of machining the full project (saving those changes to the project file is optional). One way (v12) is to accept the ‘resume machining at line n?’ option and enter the B(ack) command (multiple Enters may be needed) to rewind the program before resuming.
