I’m very interested in this project, specifically for cutting 3mm CF sheets into quadcopter frames. Will this rig be able to cut that?
Sure, as long as you use the right bit.
I only know this from the little research I’ve done into cutting CF for frames but be VERY careful about CF dust. Very bad stuff, like asbestos almost. You need a plan to contain the dust before you start cutting.
