Can't install fluidNc

Hi everyone, I’m new to the world of DIY CNC machines. I have an issue where the fluid nc software won’t install. An error message keeps coming up stating that the installer is waiting for boot installer isn’t working. I have tried everything from holding down the boot button to updating all my comms port drivers etc.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Are you certain you are not using a charge-only cable?

what operating system does your computer use?

What control board, what operating system?

After you held the boot button did it change at all? If so wait 5 minutes and see if it completes.
