Cable management for LR3

Looking for advice on cable management for the LR3. Seems like I get a cable or cord hung up somewhere during operation. I do have cable wrap on most of mine but it seems like it can get caught on the hose hooks

How did everyone place the power cord for the control board and also the router so it’s not just hanging and dragging along the side of the table?

If you can share photos that would be greatly appreciated

We have at least two dozen build threads, just look through them and let them inspire you.

Well, I guess a somewhat decent option is to use drag chain on the side of the table. I did this for my plasma LowRider, but not for my big router LowRider. Video:

Ahh… the old ‘do a search!” Here’s mine, but I think the wiring starts 300 posts down

In short - Velcro onto the vac hose does a splendid, simple job!

@bitingmidge Good catch. For some reason I assumed 1. that he had seen that in the pics in the docs etc, and that 2. since he was asking he must not be doing the vac hose thing. But those assumptions may well be without basis.

I’ve never done that before, but we literally have a tag for LR builds, don’t we?

We do! For convenience sake, here’s a link:

This is what mine looks like. If you add a picture or video of your setup, I’m sure someone would have a suggestion.

Mine hangs and drags and hasn’t been an issue. I use a splitter cable so I only have one cable coming out of the beam.

Every time I see that it makes me kick myself for not making time to learn how to do that from Dad before he passed. One day I will make the time to look it up on YouTube and learn it
