my current setup is to have the extruder heater plugged in to d10, but according to my multimeter, no power being in received from d10, d, or d8 in my 3d printer setup. any Ideas as to why this would happen? power is being
If everything is wired correctly, then there is something wrong with your thermistor or your firmware. Is the hotend temperature being displayed in your printer control software? It should be somewhere around 21C for room temperature. If you could post your configuration.h file, that would be helpful.
how do I find the configuration.h file? sorry, still new to this.
Did you wire up the other side of the green plug? The inner set powers d8-d10.
yeah, It came incorrectly wired, but i managed to fix it. both sides are now receiving power.

You are not giving much to go on here.
Are you using repetier or an lcd. What does your extruder temp read? Do you get the indication led when you trigger the heat? How are you triggering the heat? What power supply?
