Best Prescription Safety Glasses

Does anyone know any prescription safety glasses that can pass as both casual and work? I just thought of that today and think that’s a great idea if such a thing exist.

Any recommendations? or experience? I am open minded!

Thanks.

I don’t know of the ideal set yet, but would be interested in your findings. The prescription safety glasses I have purchased… typically a different set every other year or so have varied from attachable earpiece sheilds to full on protection fashion if that were a thing. New safety glasses are purchased about every other year. I wouldn’t categorize prescription safety glasses as casual though because they block so much of the face. Safety lenses and side shields with normal frames just look bad with the side shields. If you remove the shields they get lost and are no longer compliant. If you buy the wrap-around type they have extra bulky frames for the ear pieces to act as side shields for the eyes and some even have foam that seal around the eye socket. The foam comes off after time. The last set I got that didn’t have any foam, won’t stay on and slide around a fall off my face regularly. I’m required to wear them at specific locations when working so this isn’t a negotiable option, but the prescription glasses are much preferred over the plastic cover over regular glasses.
