Anyone tried Kiri:Moto?

In-browser CAM / 3D slicer / laser toolpath

Not sure if it accepts DXFs or SVGs, or just STLs

Has anyone tried it?

Couple people have asked before, but not seen anything else about it.

It seems no support for cnc with marlin… do you know how to extend the functionality?

Hi there. I’m the author of Kiri:Moto. It accepts STL models. And when run inside Onshape, is able to pull any part from the current model via Onshape’s APIs.

I have two cnc mills at home. One runs Marlin and the other GRBL. Kiri is the only tool I use to drive those and my 3D printers and laser cutter.

Is there a more specific question here?

I would like to know to to tell Kiri:Moto how to favor Marlin over GRBL

The only real differences, if there are any, would be in the device gcode macros. Usually the header or footer. Just select the device closest to your machine and click customize. With the exception of a 3018, all my mills (and 3D printers) run Marlin.
