i was about to buy estl software just to suport the free software i can live with 30 seconds deley, but the timer keep going up is not helping me to buy it +80 seconds for each mistake or eavry time i load a program and all the small buggs.
Supporting the estlcam developer is a good thing to do. If you can’t afford or don’t want to pay, you can try the cam addon to fusion 360 made by buffy.
yea its not only that the chipload is bugged goes back sometimes to defauit state. hard to make lead in cuts variable speds like one for fullcut and one for oversteps. the windows continous do an overlay. cant save tools separatly need to close the program for it to save, it makes mystical full lenght moves. rotate comand somtimes stuck when you try to rotate. the list can go on the timer was just the thing that made me not want to buy it, on top of it all. all these moments ads up to the timer each time i restart or reload …
hehe freeware is good things even if its a bit byggy i can still suport with cash or recources report bugs and so. but more or less still in beta that milks you with the timer i think is bad you set it all up to later discover you spent time to set it upp work the system just be locked in to a corner where you need to buy somthing that looks lika a free option.
I never says free the timer is to make the developer some cash very few people give anything if not compelled to.
To save a tool set it up then save to not have to reload save this list as default. As far as chip load I still cant get there with this machine but it cuts everything just not ridged enough to get there at the speed dewalt spins. I have not seen it change on my setup yet anyway. Are you running on windows?
