So i really cannot afford it, but wow, Prime has lowered alot of 3d printer stuff. Bigtreetech tablet 118, microswiss dd, 63, the biqu h2 v23 69 and on and on.
I am getting the swiss, I ahve it on the other printer and now my 100 dollar printer will too!
Yeah, i do not have any money, but I bought the swiss. I like the simpleness of it, I have it on one printer, might as well make it 2.
I have one daughter turning 13 on the 20th and the other 14 on the 22nd, it is a very expensive month, but dang it, the Microswiss never goes on sale!!!
Weâll see, I do not like that 4mm odd sized nozzle but in talking with them at MRRF they said I can swap the nozzle / heater to the other style. I just have to have it that thing is beautiful, and pretty light.
They did say that choice was made to save a couple extra gramsâŚI can respect that. I do also need to move to a 0.6mm nozzle because it seem the world has moved past 0.5 for some reason.
ăLightweight & Delicate DesignăBIQU makes a breakthrough on H2 V2S Lite by giving it an transparent hollowed-out appearance. With such fretwork design, the weight of H2 V2S Lite can be as light as 175g so that the adverse effect of inertia can be declined for higher printing precision.
Amzn Tablet with detachable BT keyboard I use as a LR3 pendant/console/controller (Marlin 515 + ESP3D), and for many other things, are ~40-50% off, can get both for just over $100âŚ
You know i love Australia, but really we are the ass end of the world when i comes to TECH stuff. Doesnât matter that we have one of the highest uptakes or tech in the world. We just donât have to population to warrant getting these deals.
Throw in the exchange to the south pacific Paso and the laser module you linked to is not even on sale in Australia and I can get it from the US store at AU$115 with maybe free shipping.
As for the FIREHD 10" tablet, I just CANT get them in AUS for some reason. And it wont let me buy it from the US store and send it to Australia without using one of those shipping forwarders that give me a US address to send too. Oh and @AU$135.00 via the US store even if i was to use the forwarder.
Right there with you. Iâve been playing a game with one of the guys from the office where I copy an image from a Vevor ad and send it to him with no context to guess what it is. The availability of some truly remarkably weird stuff at insane prices is crazy.
If it makes you feel any better, itâs worse in NZ than it is in Aus, by far. We donât even have an IkeaâŚ
I really want to offer you freight forwarding services, but i live on a boat and its hard enough to get my own packages delivered. (i have to use my GF, work or brothers address) but if you are desperate i can probably help you out.
The irony is that most of this stuff is made in China, which (last time I checked) is much closer to AUS than USA.
Things like aliexpress work better for you than us, right? The shipping direct from China is anywhere from 2-5 weeks here in middle of CO, USA.
I am always surprised when I see the population of Australia. 26M doesnât seem like enough considering how often it is in pop culture, or in the forums. Add up North Carolina, Michigan, and Arizona and youâre over 26M.
I have friends dotted around Aussie that I could lean on if it comes to that. Iâm going to be visiting a couple of them in Sydney and then heading out to Uluru for a holiday in a few weeks, so Iâm pretty tempted to try bringing a spindle and couple of VFDs back in the suitcase!
Less well than you might think. Itâs closer, but I think the shipping volumes are lower so things tend to get delayed. 2-5 weeks would be right for me in Auckland, which is the biggest shipping hub for consumer goods within NZ. AliExpress shipping also seems to be more expensive and limited to NZ than it is to the US, especially for bigger items. Iâve seen people buying woodworking vices with free shipping in the US, while here itâs often more than the item itself.
We do have some local companies that basically retail questionable AliExpress stuff to the local market, but itâs usually expensive enough to be worth rolling the dice. A company several doors down from us at work does that, so being able to walk for a minute and buy a cheap ratty crimping tool for the JST connectors on the SKR Pro board was a remarkably weird experience.
