I like the idea of restoring a 100 years old piece of hardware using AI, there’s a kind of poetry to this.
Maybe a dedicated software dedicated to “tracing” would’ve done the same, but as you said, AI will let you do that without any specific software skill
As for other usages, I recently used ai to find the best sheet number and arrangement to fit m’y model, and it worked great : Cat hut for winter - #12 by Fabien
